专利说明:
[0001] The present invention relates to a material that can be used, for example, for the manufacture of parts, in particular for the manufacture of vehicle linings, in particular vehicle interior linings. One of the aims of the invention is to propose a material which is light, while being resistant and easy to use for the manufacture of parts, especially vehicle wraps. For this purpose, the invention provides a material comprising a matrix made in a first material, the matrix being loaded with particles comprising a cork core coated with a coating made in a second material different from the first material. In particular embodiments, the material comprises one or more of the following optional features: the particles are substantially spherical; the particles have a diameter of between 200 and 600 μm, preferably between 300 and 500 μm; the thickness of the coating is between 1 μm and 10 μm; the first material is a plastic material, in particular a thermoplastic material; the first material is formed of a component or a combination of at least two components chosen from: polyester, homopolymer or copolymer, or polyolefin, homopolymer or copolymer, or polypropylene (PP), or acrylonitrilebutadiene-styrene (ABS) , or polyamide (PA), or polycarbonate (PC), or polybutylene succinate (PBS), or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA); the second material is formed of a compatibilizing agent; the mass content of the particulate material is between 2% and 80%, preferably between 10% and 25%. The invention also relates to an interior trim of a motor vehicle, made at least partly with the aid of the material as defined above. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a material as defined above, comprising a step of coating beads or cork granules with the second material to form the particles, then, then, the mixture of the particles and of the first material to form a composition for forming the material. [0002] The invention and its advantages will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of non-limiting example, and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a diagrammatic sectional view a part made of a material comprising a matrix loaded with particles; and - Figure 2 is a sectional view of a particle. The part 2 illustrated in FIG. 1 is made of a composite material 4 comprising a matrix 6 loaded with particles 8. The matrix 6 is continuous. The particles 8 of the material 4 are dispersed in the matrix 6. [0003] The matrix 6 is made of a first material. The first material is a plastic material, preferably a polymer. The first material is in particular a thermoplastic material. The first plastic material is preferably a thermoplastic material formed of a component or a combination of at least two components selected from: polyester, homopolymer or copolymer, or polyolefin, homopolymer or copolymer, or polypropylene (PP), or acrylonitrile butadiene-styrene (ABS), or polyamide (PA), or polycarbonate (PC), or polybutylene succinate (PBS), or polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), or any combination of at least two of these components. As an option, these components or their combinations are reinforced by mineral fillers. These components have a rigidity to fulfill a support function. The mass content of the matrix in the material 4 is between 20% and 98%. The particles 8 are formed of a cork core 10 coated with a coating 12 made of a second material different from the first material. The cork constituting the nuclei 10 of the particles 8 is a natural or synthetic cork. Advantageously, the cork is expanded. The cork cores are substantially spherical. The cork cores are formed of cork aggregates or cork balls (or microbeads). [0004] The second material forming the coating 12 of the particles 8 is different from the first material forming the matrix 6. The second material is advantageously a compatibilizing agent. The term "compatibilizing agent" means a compound having two ends of different chemical structures respectively having a particular affinity for two components of a heterogeneous material, thereby making it possible to improve the compatibility between these two components. The second material is chosen to ensure good affinity both with the cork of the cores 10 and the first material of the matrix 6. Thus, the coating 12 of the cork cores 10 makes it possible to increase the cohesion of the material 4. In one embodiment, the compatibilizing agent comprises a polymer grafted with a chemical group, in particular a polar group, and / or an enzyme. The graft polymer is for example chosen from polyolefins. In one embodiment, the graft polymer forming the second material is the same polymer as that forming the first material. Groups used for grafting include, for example: silane, glycerol, epoxy, carboxylic acid, maleic acid or a combination thereof. As a compatibilizing agent, it may be envisaged in particular a compound chosen from polyolefins grafted with polar groups. As polyolefins, it is possible to envisage the use of (co) polymers of polypropylene. Particularly preferred are polyolefins grafted with a carboxylic acid or one of its esters or anhydrides. Among the carboxylic acids that are useful for grafting, mention may in particular be made of maleic acid and maleic anhydride. In a particular advantageous embodiment, the first material is a polypropylene (PP) and the second material is a polypropylene (PP) grafted, for example by a maleic anhydride. [0005] The particles are substantially spherical. The particles have a diameter of between 200 and 600 μm, preferably between 300 and 500 μm. The thickness of the coating 12 is between 1 μm and 10 μm, preferably between 2 μm and 5 μm. The mass content of the particulate material 4 is between 2% and 80%, preferably between 10% and 25%. The material 4 is devoid of reinforcing fibers. The material 4 is first formed by coating the cork cores with the second material to form the particles 8, and then mixing the particles 8 and the first material to form a composition for forming the material 4. [0006] The mixture of the particles 8 with the first material is made for example when the first material is in a liquid, viscous or solid state, for example in a powder form. For the manufacture of a part 2 made with the composite material 4, the material 4 comprising the particles 8 and the first material is shaped for example by molding, in particular by compression molding or by injection molding. [0007] The coating 12 of the particles 8 is formed prior to the introduction of the particles 8 into the first material of the matrix 6. The coating 12 of the particles 8 completely surrounds their cork cores. The cork cores of the particles are not in contact with the matrix 6. The coating 12 forms an interface between the cork core and the matrix 6, making it possible to improve the bond between the cork core and the matrix 6 Each core 10 is individually surrounded by a clean coating 12. The material 4 is easy to obtain and is to be shaped for the production of a part. The particles of small dimensions allow the shaping of a workpiece by conventional plastic molding methods, including with a high mass content of particles 8. The particles 8 may for example withstand the shear stresses during the molding. material injection 4. Cork has a very low mass density. The particles 8 comprising a cork core are particularly light. The material 4 comprising a matrix 6 loaded with particles 8 with cork cores 10 is thus lightened. In addition, the higher the particle content 8, the lower the resulting material. On the other hand, the higher the cork content of a material comprising a matrix loaded with cork particles, the more the material can become brittle due to decohesion between the particles and the matrix. [0008] However, because of the coating of the cores 10 with a wrapping 12 forming an interface between the cork and the first material, the material 4 maintains a strong cohesion between the particles 8 and the matrix 6. As a result, the content of particles 8 can be raised to obtain a particularly light material, while maintaining a material having a satisfactory strength, especially for the manufacture of vehicle wraps. In addition, the coating of the particles is impervious to the first material so that the first material of the matrix does not penetrate into the cork cores. The respective mass contents in matrix and in particles, as well as their relative contents, are chosen according to the desired mechanical characteristics for the material, in particular as a function of the desired density and mechanical strength, and / or manufacturing processes of the piece that we want to use.
